The main monitoring interface: live and historical pollutant readings, per-device time series, comparison between units, and export of the underlying data. Built so that both a researcher and a non-specialist stakeholder can read the same screen and get what they need from it. Sensor System Studio of Experiments

An analysis environment sitting on top of the stored data. It lets the user define experiments over selected devices and time windows, apply and compare correction or modelling approaches, and keep the results side by side — turning exploratory sensor analysis into something reproducible and traceable. Air Quality Station Map

A geographic view of the monitoring network. Every station appears at its actual location with its latest status and readings, and can be opened directly for detailed inspection — the fastest way to answer “what is the network showing right now, and where”. Air Quality Map

Made in the framework of the project PANSEN. A spatially continuous view of air pollution, produced by interpolating the network’s measurements into a heatmap over the covered area rather than showing isolated points. AIRIN receives Gold and Platinum distinctions at the AI & Data Awards 2026

I’m happy to share that our project AIRIN: Medical Decision Support System for Explainable AI-driven Diagnosis of Ophthalmic Diseases was recognised at the AI & Data Awards 2026 powered by UBITECH, during the awards ceremony held in Athens on 27 January 2026. AIRIN received both a Gold and a Platinum distinction in Best Machine Learning Solution—a meaningful acknowledgement that sustained, careful work on clinically-relevant and explainable AI does not go unnoticed. More importantly, it reflects positive feedback from the broader community on the practical value of the innovative approaches we are proposing. Special thanks go to the two scientific leads who carry the largest share of the ideation and direction behind AIRIN: Prof. Elpiniki Papageorgiou and Dr. Eirini Maliagkani. Their insight, standards, and consistency are central to what this project has become. AIRIN is developed through the collaboration of ACTA Lab (University of Thessaly) and the 1st University Ophthalmology Clinic, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
